Michael's experience includes 15 years in service operations management and more than 15 years in executive management where he marketed and sold software solutions to service and maintenance organizations. Prior to establishing igniteService, Michael worked as a respected research analyst focusing on customer service, maintenance, and repair business processes.

Quimby is a 2000 cum laude graduate of the University of Georgia (AB, English) where he first learned about internet technology. He continued his training as a graduate student at UNLV (MA & PhD, English, '03 & '08), completing all three of UNLV's "Internet Design and Technology Certificates": "Information Design" and "Web Development" ('06) and "Visual/Multimedia Design" ('07). Quimby assists Michael as a professional editor and collaborates with igniteService on a variety of projects including: podcasts and video productions, Flash demos and splash pages, web and graphic designs, and HTML newsletters.
